“I was fortunate enough to rent an apartment in Paris for a short time. I had visited a couple of times before but only for a week at the most. The apartment was two and half blocks from the Place de la Madeleine. On my second day I went to the flower market and bought a dozen lavender roses. I passed a few Parisians with the same idea and this woman reminds me on one.”
